In Spring 2021, I was the instructor of record for Calculus I at Bryn Mawr. I taught this class in a hybrid format using a "flipped classroom" approach. Students watched a short, pre-recorded lecture before class, asked questions on an online forum, and summarized the material. Then during class, I clarified points of confusion, worked through examples, and gave opportunities for students to work on problems together or in groups. This approach allowed for students with a variety of learning styles to thrive and encouraged participation from both synchronous and asynchronous students.

At Bryn Mawr, I've been a Teaching Assistant for the following courses:
Differential Equations - Lab development (R), grading, and problem sessions
Applied Mathematics - Lab Instructor (MatLab)
Real Analysis I and II - Grading and Problem Sessions

Other teaching experiences
As an undergraduate at The College of New Jersey, I majored in Special Education with a dual major in Mathematics. Throughout this time, I gained practical experience by observing, assisting in the classroom, and teaching demo lessons at various school districts. I spent a semester in each of the following classrooms:
Middle school science in Bordentown, NJ
Sixth grade reading in Flemington, NJ
Fifth grade general education in Trenton, NJ
Fifth grade science in South Brunswick, NJ
I am excited about bringing these teaching skills to higher education!
